Secure your seats for the 2018 International May Festival now! While a complete programme overview is available here, tickets for the following Opera Gala performances are already on sale:
Un ballo in maschera
The Festival opens on 30 April 2018 with the premiere of Verdi's "Un ballo in maschera", conducted by GMD Patrick Lange and directed by Beka Savić. The star cast includes Adina Aaron as Amelia, Polish tenor Arnold Rutkowski as Riccardo and Canadian contralto Marie Nicole Lemieux as Ulrica.

Klaus Florian Vogt will perform the title role in the new production of "Tannhäuser", a role which he also performed at the Munich Opera Festival.
Magnificent Swedish soprano Maria Bengtsson returns to the Festival this year as Arabella.

L'elisir d'amore
Young South African opera sensation, Pretty Yende, joins Ioan Hotea, Levy Sekgapane and Patrick Carfizzi in "L'elisir d'amore".

Catherine Foster, Johannes Martin Kränzle, Lance Ryan and Albert Pesendorfer will grace the stage in "Götterdämmerung".
Der fliegende Holländer
Egils Silins comes to Wiesbaden as the Dutchman in "Der fliegende Holländer".
Following his "Otello" series at the Royal Opera House in London, Gregory Kunde makes his Wiesbaden debut in the title role.

Tickets for all other productions will go on sale in February 2018, when the full Festival programme (including ballet, drama, concerts and children's productions) is also unveiled.
