Asmik Grigorian

Soprano
Born in Vilnius, Asmik Grigorian studied in Lithuania and Nice. She was an ensemble member of the Latvian National Opera in Riga, performed at the Lithuanian National Opera, and has guested at the Mariinsky Theatre (as Rusalka and in “Il trittico”), at the Komische Oper in Berlin (Manon Lescaut, as well as Tatyana in “Eugene Onegin”), in Rome, Stockholm (Cio-Cio San in “Madama Butterfly”), Cologne (Marie in “Wozzeck”), as well as St. Petersburg (Senta in “Der fliegende Holländer”). She performed the role of Judith (“Bluebeard’s Castle”) in Gent, Antwerp and Wiesbaden, where she also appeared as Senta during the 2016 International May Festival. This season, she returns to Wiesbaden to sing Tatyana in "Eugene Onegin".
