South Korean soprano Elisa Cho studied in Seoul and Milan. She made her debut in 2011 as a member of the Frankfurt Opera studio in Franco Leoni’s “L’Oracolo” and Puccini’s “Le Villi” and in 2012 sang Mélisande (in Dukas’ “Ariane et Barbe-bleue”) and First Lady (“Die Zauberflöte”). She performed the title role in Bellini’s “Norma” at the Krefeld Theatre, and stepped in at short notice as Maria Tudor in Pacini’s “Maria regina d'Inghilterra” in Gießen, making her debut there. Previous appearances in Wiesbaden include Susanna ("Le nozze di Figaro"), Mimì ("La Bohème") and Cio-Cio San ("Madama Butterfly"). This season, she returns to Wiesbaden as Amelia in "Un ballo in maschera".
