Lynn Kao

Lynn Kao-Speth was born in Taiwan and grew up in the USA. She won the Kosciuszko Chopin Piano Competition in New York, amongst others, and represented the USA at the 1988 Chopin Festival in Poland. She made her pianistic debut in Germany in 2005 with the Südwestfalen Philharmonic Orchestra and undertook a concert tour throughout Europe with the Enos Trio. She has been active as conductor, pianist and répétiteur in Wiesbaden since 2009, and has conducted productions like “Evita”, “My Fair Lady” and “Candide”. This season she will be on the podium for “Der Graf von Luxemburg”, as well as the ballet “Weltenwanderer” and the “Paddington Bear” children’s concert.
