Patricia Bardon

Irish mezzo-soprano Patricia Bardon studied singing in Dublin and became the youngest ever singer to win the Cardiff Singer of the World competition. She has since been in great demand at the major opera houses of the world (in New York, London, Paris, Munich, Berlin, Chicago etc.), with a repertoire spanning all important mezzo roles from the Baroque to Rossini, Verdi and Wagner. Over the past few seasons, she has performed the title role in "Agrippina" at Theater an der Wien, Arsace in "Partenope" at ENO, Cornelia in "Giulio Cesare" at Glyndebourne and Principessa in Puccini's "Suor Angelica" at Opera North, to name but a few. Ms. Bardon will grace the stage in the role of Ulrica in "Un ballo in maschera" at the 2018 Wiesbaden International May Festival, a role which she has recently sung at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.
