Sera Gösch

Born in Istanbul, Austrian soprano Sera Gösch studied at the Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in her native city, and later at the Vienna Conservatory. From 2012 to 2015 she sang at the Vienna Volksoper, where she performed in "Hänsel und Gretel", "Carmen", "Zauberflöte" and "Hochzeit des Figaro". Since then Sera Gösch has been working as a freelance artist, performing as a concert singer in the USA, Canada and Russia, among others, and making her debut as Violetta in "La Traviata" at the State Opera Varna in Bulgaria. During the 2018.2019 season she makes her house debut in the title role of Richard Strauss' "Salome" at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden.
