Susanne Füller

Stage & Costume Designer
Susanne Füller was born in Bochum and studied Architecture and Scenography in Potsdam, as well as Art History in Berlin. In 2000, she started working as Production Designer for film and television and from 2004-2009, she worked as Stage and Costume Designer at the Hans-Otto Theater in Potsdam, during the directorship of Uwe Eric Laufenberg. Thereafter, she started freelancing for opera, musicals and drama in Cologne, Meiningen, Hannover, Berlin, Bremerhaven, Eisenach and Essen, amongst others. Since taking up her position at Staatstheater Wiesbaden in 2014/15, she has designed costumes and sets (in collaboration with Matthias Schaller) for operas such as "Norma", "The Human Voice / Bluebeard's Castle", dramas such as "Hänsel und Gretel", "Scrooge", "Der Junge in der Tür", "Die Buddenbrooks", "Hedda Gabler", "Jane Eyre" and "Das doppelte Lottchen". During the current season, she will create costumes for "Die Fledermaus", costumes and sets (with Matthias Schaller) for "Die Zauberflöte", as well as working on the dramas "Auerhaus" (costumes and sets) and "Terror" (sets).
