Julian Habermann

Tenor Julian Habermann studied from 2013 to 2017 with Prof. Hedwig Fassbender at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, where he is currently a student of Prof. Thilo Dahlmann. He is a laureate of the national "Gesang Berlin" (Junior) competition and a finalist of the international "Das Lied" competition. In addition, he was a scholarship holder of the Lied Academy of the International Heidelberger Spring Music Festival. In 2018, Julian Habermann took part in the "Liederwerkstatt" at the "Kissinger Sommer" with pianists Axel Bauni, Jan Philip Schulze and Steffen Schleiermacher. In 2017, he sang the arias in Bach's St. Matthew Passion in Brixen, Meran and Eisenach with the Tölzer Knabenchor. Already during his studies Julian Habermann was a guest in various roles at the Oper Frankfurt. His upcoming projects include the St. Matthew Passion with the Dutch Bach Association under the direction of Philippe Herreweghe. This season, he makes his role and house debut at the Wiesbaden State Theatre in the role of Oronte in Handel's "Alcina".
