Katharina Konradi

Soprano Katharina Konradi was born in Kyrgyzstan. She studied singing in Berlin and Munich and is a scholarship holder of the Paul Hindemith Society. She made her debut at the UniT in Berlin as Rosina in Mozart’s “La finta semplice” and sang the title role in “The Diary of Anne Frank” at Theater Hof, as well as appearing as guest at the Munich Kammeroper. Her appearance as Juliette Vermont in “Der Graf von Luxemburg” marked her first appearance at the State Theatre of Wiesbaden, followed by the Sandman and Dew Fairy in “Hänsel und Gretel”, Morgana (“Alcina”), Nannetta (“Falstaff”) and a maid in “Elektra” during the 2015/16 season. In addition to singsing Gretel in "Hänsel und Gretel", this season she will sing Woglinde in Wagner's Ring Cycle, First Niece in "Peter Grimes", Helmwige in "Die Walküre", Pamina in "Die Zauberflöte", Adele in "Die Fledermaus", Musetta in "La Bohème" and Susanna in "Le nozze di Figaro". During the 2017/18 season she will sing Zdenka in "Arabella" and Zerlina in "Don Giovanni" (both new productions), as well as reprising her roles as Pamina and Gretel. In addition, she will appear as soprano soloist in Mozart's Requiem as part of the 6th Symphony Concert.
