Antje Sternberg

Costume Designer
Antje Sternberg was born in Berlin and studied Costume Design in Dresden. She worked as Assistant at the Metropol-Theater in Berlin and was appointed Head of Costuming at Potsdam’s Hans Otto Theater in 1999. Over the years, she has worked closely with director Uwe Eric Laufenberg and stage designer Gisbert Jäkel, e.g. on productions like Ernst Krenek’s “Karl V” (Bregenz Festival), “Don Giovanni” and “Die Entführung aus dem Serail” (Cologne Opera), as well as the “Ring” cycle (Theater Linz). Previous costume designs in Wiesbaden include “Die Frau ohne Schatten” and “Die Entführung aus dem Serail”; this season she designs the costumes for “Così fan tutte”.
