Marco Jentzsch was an ensemble member in Erfurt and Hannover, and has guested in roles such as Froh (“Das Rheingold”), Stolzing (“Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg”), Erik (“Der fliegende Holländer”, 2016 in Zurich), Lohengrin and Parsifal at La Scala, the Komische Oper and Staatsoper in Berlin, in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Dortmund (where he also sang Max in “Der Freischütz”), Cologne (also as Bacchus in “Ariadne auf Naxos” and Drum Major in “Wozzeck”) and Glyndebourne. During the 2014/15 season, he sang Apollo (“Daphne”) in Basel, the Emperor (“Die Frau ohne Schatten”) in Saarbrücken, as well as Rodolfo (“La bohème”), Lohengrin and Erik in Wiesbaden. This season, he returns to the Wiesbaden stage as Stolzing in the new production of "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg".
