Power struggles, personal dilemmas, violence, oppression, protest and strategic manipulation: as early as the 16th Century, Shakespeare already captured these struggles in his trilogy "Coriolan", "Julius Caesar" and "Antony and Cleopatra".

John von Düffel has now edited, re-translated and re-worked these pieces into an exciting new, concentrated dramatic theatre project, a "Roman Trilogy" - with the singular titles "Contempt", "Conspiracy" and "Seduction".
