Erik Biegel studied at the Frankfurt College of Music and Performing Arts. During his studies, he regularly performed at the Frankfurt Oper as member of the Early Music ensemble "Opern-Companie Febi Armnici". Guest engagements have taken him to Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Saarbrücken and Maastricht. Important roles include, amongst others, Wenzel ("Die verkaufte Braut") and Pedrillo ("Die Entführung aus dem Serail") as member of the solo ensemble at Bonn Opera. Previous performances in Wiesbaden include Mime ("Rheingold"), the Tattered Peasant ("Lady Macbeth"), Spoletta ("Tosca"), Captain ("Wozzeck"), Monostatos ("Die Zauberflöte") and Gingerbread Witch ("Hänsel und Gretel"), Dr Blind in "Die Fledermaus", Mime in "Das Rheingold" and Triquet in "Eugen Onegin". During the 2017/18 season, his roles included the Composer in "Schönerland", Guillot Morfontaine in "Manon", Monostatos in "Die Zauberflöte" and Gingerbread Witch in "Hänsel und Gretel". This season, his roles include Goro ("Madama Butterfly") and David ("Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg).
