A Broadway classic, "My Fair Lady" brings song and dance to George Bernard Shaw's satirical play "Pygmalion". Based on an ancient Greek myth, the story revolves around a man who creates his version of the ideal woman - but what should happen when this "creation" decides to be independent, with her own ideas and opinions? At first, the young, uneducated Eliza and her particular brand of street slang present a mere scientific challenge to linguist Henry Higgins - the subject of a bet amongst friends. As soon as she learns to pronounce "The rain in Spain..." and passes for an educated lady at the ball, he loses interest in her. Or is there more to the story after all?
