Björn Breckheimer

Björn Breckheimer studied Musical/Show performance at the Berlin University of Arts. In the following years he gained experience in various stage genres, winning 2nd prize at the National Singing Competition, 1st prize in the NRW Singing Competition, as well as the Günter Neumann Foundation's special jury prize. He has sung various leading roles in musicals, including Lucheni in "Elisabeth" at Theater an der Wien, radioman Harold Bride in "Titanic" at Hamburg's Neue Flora Theatre, Galileo in "We will Rock you" at Theater 11 in Zurich and the Cologne Musical Dome, Johannes and Mr. Cinic in the world premiere of "Love Bite" at the Neukölln Opera in Berlin, Berger in "Hair" at the Ettlingen Festival, as well as Tom in a touring production of "Blue Jeans. In addition, he appeared as lead singer for the groups "nusol" and "basic mind".

Björn Breckheimer has been involved in numerous world premieres. He played Leo in "Gut gegen Nordwind" and the sequel "Alle sieben Wellen" at the Mainzer Kammerspiele, as well as Michael in "Vernissage" by Vaclac Havel at the Gallus Theatre in Frankfurt. In addition, he directed his self-composed musical "Der Nobelpreisträger" at TPS Berlin and acted as musical director for "Vom Geust der Weihnacht" in Frankfurt in 2008.

In addition to his activities as head of singing, acting and performance training school "StimmDich", he is also director of the "Musical Arts Academy" in Mainz and teaches singing at the Frankfurt Academy of Music and Performing Arts and the Schauspiel

After appearing in roles such as Jesus of Nazareth in "Jesus Christ Superstar" and Fredyy in "My Fair Lady", Björn Breckheimer now returns to the Wiesbaden stage as Fürst Populescu in "Gräfin Mariza".
