Ekaterina Kuridze

Ekatarina Kuridze studied piano in her native Georgia, and later at the ArtEZ Conservatorium in Enschede, Holland. At the same time, she also completed vocal studies, working with Cheryl Studer and Horst Gross, after which a singing scholarship took her to Salzburg for a year. Ekatarina Kuridze regularly performs at home and abroad, with special focus on song recitals and oratorios, in repertoire spanning from early Baroque to modern works. As soloist, she has worked extensively in the Netherlands, with the Ensemble Il Concerto Barocco and Van Wassenaer Consort, amongst others. In Germany, she has collaborated with the Concert Royal Köln, Nordwestdeutschen Philharmonie and the Palatina Klassik Baroque Ensemble. In Wiesbaden, she is known through her numerous chamber music concerts and most recently as a soloist of Ensemble Mattiacis at the 2018 International May Festival. She is a member of the Opera Chorus of the Wiesbaden State Theatre.
