Alexander Knight

Alexander Knight was born in Australia and studied in Sydney. He has performed with numerous leading ensembles in Australia, including the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Guest engagements have taken him to the Sydney Chamber Opera, the Edinburgh Festival, Adelaide and New Zealand. Alexander Knight is the 2016/2017 season winner of the German-Australian Opera Grant, allowing him to spend a year as part of the ensemble at the Hessian State Theatre of Wiesbaden, where his roles include Dr. Falke ("Fledermaus"), Papageno ("Die Zauberflöte"), Ned Keene ("Peter Grimes"), Sciarrone ("Tosca") and Schaunard ("Bohème"). He will also appear in "La Traviata" and "Die Frau ohne Schatten".
