Jeongki Cho

Born in Korea, Jeongki Cho was a finalist at the Cologne International Singing Competition and the Francisco Viñas Competition in Barcelona, and he made his debut in Korea as Don José in “Carmen”. First as studio member and later soloist at Cologne Opera, he sang roles such as Almaviva (“Il barbiere di Siviglia”), Tamino (“Die Zauberflöte”), Duke of Mantua (“Rigoletto”), Rodolfo (“La bohéme”), Cassio (“Otello”), Nemorino (“L'elisir d'amore”), Count Elemer (“Arabella”), Brighella (“Ariadne auf Naxos”) and Daland's Steersman (“Der fliegende Holländer”). His role as Steersman in Wiesbaden marks his first appearance in the house.
