HESSISCHES STAATSTHEATER WIESBADEN

Accessibility

Accessible Seating
Barrier-free entry is available from the Kurhaus side of the colonnades, giving access to the Großes Haus, Kleines Haus, as well as the Box Office. There are a number of accessible seating options and wheelchair locations in all venues. Please note, however, that there are no lifts available. Theatregoers with reduced mobility are advised to contact us by telephone with their seating requests before booking their tickets.
Front of house staff on site will be happy to accompany you to your seat. Theatregoers with a Category B pass are entitled to a free ticket for an accompanying person.
Sign Language Interpreted Performances
Selected sign language performances in the Opera, Drama and JUST (Youth) divisions are available. During the performance, qualified interpreters convey the story, dialogue and other elements to patrons who have limited hearing abilities. A block of seats is reserved for users of this service to ensure a good view of the interpreter and the stage. We are happy to provide special performances for schools for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.
Special Tours
We offer regular guided theatre tours for the deaf and hearing impaired. Furthermore, we are always open to discuss tours for people with other special needs and welcome your enquiries.
