The summer break is over and the new theatre season has begun! On Saturday, 1 September 2018 from 14:00 until 19:00, the Hessian State Theatre of Wiesbaden will once again open its door to the public and provide a sneak peek into the upcoming season.

The annual Theatre Festival promises a rich, entertaining programme for all ages, including concerts, highlights from the 2018/19 season, a costume auction, dance workshops and much more, with events taking place at various locations within and outside the theatre building. With the Wiesbaden Biennale in full swing, there will also be a number of ticketed Biennale performances taking place as part of the Festival. Visits to the theatre workshops will provide some insight into the work of our various craft departments, while guided tours through the costume and make-up departments will offer an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience. At the "Meet & Greet" events, visitors will have a chance to get into conversation with the theatre management.

Various food options will be provided by the theatre canteen, Bäcker Dries, a REWE bratwurst stall, as well as a cake table, run by the Theatre's own staff council.

A number of special ticket offers for performances in September and October 2018 will be available from the Box Office on the day, while the subscriptions department will also offer a variety of special subscription options.
