Gloria Rehm studied in Berlin and won the 2013 Richard Strauss competition in Munich. Her stage career commenced in Cologne, with roles such as Blonde (“Die Entführung aus dem Serail”), Lauretta (“Gianni Schicchi”), Zerbinetta (“Ariadne auf Naxos”), Ännchen (“Der Freischütz”) and Eliza Doolittle (“My Fair Lady”). She sang the role of Queen of the Night in Tapei as part of a touring production by Cologne Opera, a role which she also performed at the Vienna Volksoper in 2017 and in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Heidelberg during the 2016/17 season. She has been a much-loved performer at the Wiesbaden State Theatre since 2014 and has appeared at the International May Festival on numerous occasions. She enjoyed great success in 2016 as Marie ("Die Soldaten"), a performance for which she received the Faust Theatre Prize in 2017. Other roles include Falcon/Guardian in "Die Frau ohne Schatten", Adina (“L'elisir d'amore”), Kunigunde ("Candide"), Norina ("Don Pasquale"), Musetta ("La Bohème"), the Mozart roles Despina ("Così fan tutte"), Blonde, Konstanze ("Die Entführung aus dem Serail") and Queen of the Night, Gretel ("Hänsel und Gretel"), Adele ("Die Fledermaus") and Woglinde ("Der Ring des Nibelungen"). During the previous season, Gloria Rehm graced the stage as Fiakermilli ("Arabella"), Iphis ("Jephtha") and Oscar ("Un ballo in maschera"). During the 2018/19 season, she will perform Gretel, Oscar, Kunigunde, as well as Gilda and Ilia in the new productions of "Rigoletto" and "Idomeneo".
