Harold Meers

Since making his debut at Saint Louis Opera, American lyric tenor Harold Meers has sung at virtually every leading opera house in North America, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, San Francisco Opera, the Opera Company of Philadelphia, Minnesota Opera, the Boston Lyric Opera, Nashville Opera, New Orleans Opera, Baltimore Opera and Cleveland Opera. Last season, he made his debut in Mexico at the historic Teatro Degollado as Cassio in "Otello", and in the same season became a permanent ensemble member at Theater Freiburg, where he has since sung roles such as Hoffmann ("The Tales of Hoffmann"), Boris ("Katya Kabanova") and Rodolfo ("La Bohème"). His repertoire includes both Italian and French lyric roles. This season, he will grace the Wiesbaden stage as Riccardo in "Un ballo in maschera".
