Klaus Krückemeyer

Hailing from Siegen, Klaus Krückemeyer's relationship with the Wiesbaden State Theatre dates back to 2003. Since then, he has regularly appeared on the Wiesbaden stage, in productions such as "Der Glöckner von Notre-Dame" (Pierre Gringoire), "Die Fledermaus" (Frosch), "Die lustige Witwe" (Raoul de St. Brioche), "Der Vetter aus Dingsda" (Egon von Wildenhagen), "Der Vogelhändler" (Prof. Würmchen), "Im weißen Rössl" (Piccolo), "My Fair Lady" (Zoltan Karpathy), "Kiss Me, Kate" (Gangster), "La Cage aux Folles" (Jacob), "Copacabana"(Rico Castelli), "Fame" (Joe Vegas), as well as various music revues. He has performed as guest at Staatstheater Darmstadt as well as in "Hallo, Dolly" (Horace Vandergelder) at the Lahnstein City Theatre. In 2012, he founded RadioLiveTheatre, which hosts nationwide guest appearances, staged readings ("Gut gegen Nordwind" and "Der Priestermacher") and live radio plays ("Der Hund der Baskervilles«, "Der Hexer kehrt zurück" and "Old Shatterhand unter Kojoten"). He has appeared in radio plays such as Tad Williams' "Otherland", "Die dre ???", "Die Ferienbande" and the animated short film "Fremdkörper". For television, he has worked as presenter for Super RTL and has appeared in programmes such as "Bombis Nachtwache" and "Tatort – Die Show". He has worked as reporter, editor, presenter, speaker and author for the Hessischer Rundfunk in Frankfurt am Main since 2004. Klaus Krückemeyer  was awarded the Erasmus Sacerius Plaque and the Speech Gold Award in the USA for his interpretation of Harry Edison in Neil Simon's "The Prisoner of Second Avenue".

This season, he takes the Wiesbaden stage as Penizek in "Gräfin Mariza", and once again performs the role of Zoltan Karpathy in "My Fair Lady".
