Joachim Goltz was born in Mannheim and studied in Detmold, after which he performed at the Semperoper in Dresden, Komische Oper Berlin, in Würzburg and Wiesbaden. He has been an ensemble member of the National Theatre in Mannheim since 2014, where his repertoire includes Schaunard (“La bohème”), Count Danilo (“The Merry Widow”), Kilian (“Der Freischütz”) and Papageno (“Die Zauberflöte”). He has guested in Ljubljana and Zagreb, and as Pizarro (“Fidelio”) in Lübeck and Hagen.
