Vera Ivanovic

Born in Würzburg, Vera Ivanovic studied voice with Prof. Yaron Windmüller at the Saarbrücken University of Music, where she graduated with a Master of Music degree in January 2016. Important roles during her studies include the title role in Gluck's "Iphigenie en Tauride" and Elle in Poulenc's "La Voix Humaine". Ivanovic is a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Association and the Bruno and Elisabeth Meindl Foundation. In 2017, she won second prize at the Concours Lyrique International 'Bell'Arte' in Belgium. At the Saarländisches Staatstheater she performed the roles of Maid Marianne Leitmetzerin in "Der Rosenkavalier", Annina in "La Traviata" and Anna in "Nabucco". Roles in Wiesbaden include Gertrude in "Hänsel und Gretel", First Lady in "Die Zauberflöte" and Helmwige in "Die Walküre".
