Karolina Liçi

German soprano Karolina Liçi discovered her passion for theatre at an early age and took part in various dance, theatre and singing projects, with first guest appearances at the Gallus theatre, Frankfurt, amongst others. She attended the Scaramouche Academy in Wiesbaden and later received vocal training from Yoo-Chang Nah at Dr. Hoch's Conservatory in Frankfurt. She gained further experience as guest student (directing) at Frankfurt Oper, where she also had the opportunity to play small parts in productions. At the same time, she received lessons from Tanja Ariane Baumgartner. She has been studying under Susanne Dewald at the Mainz Academy of Music since 2015, where she has appeared in in-house productions such as "Die Zauberflöte" (as Second Lady) and "La Clemenza di Tito" (as Servillia). She has received master classes from Hans Christoph Begemann, Siegfried Jerusalem and Petra Lang.
