Christopher Diffey

Born in Melbourne in 1982, Australian tenor Christopher Diffey graduated with honours from Monash University in 2002 and took additional courses at the Royal Academy of Music in London in 2008. Engagements have taken him to the Scottish Opera, Opera North, the Royal Opera House London, the Nationaltheater Mannheim and to the festivals in Aix-en-Provence and Edinburgh. His repertoire includes Rodolfo in "La Bohème", Don José in "Carmen", Count Almaviva in "The Barber of Seville" and Lenski in "Eugene Onegin". Previous roles in Wiesbaden include David in two performances of "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg", as well as Mayor of Mexia and Larry King the new production of Mark-Anthony Turnage's opera "Anna Nicole".
