Beethoven Meets Cuba

Ludwig van Beethoven, classicist, philosopher and revolutionary – whose incredible legacy continues to inspire countless musicians to this day – meets Fidel Castro, politician and dictator – an outsider and friend to the poor; a polarizing figure, at the same time a model of freedom and justice, as well as symbol of oppression and self-will.

In "Beethoven meets Cuba", the Klazz Brothers and Cuba Percussion commemorate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth with exciting new arrangements and fresh rhythms, bringing about innovative musical connections and contrasts between these two perhaps not so contradictory personalities and cultures.
