Water is the essence of life, covering about 71% of the earth's surface. It flows, evaporates, or turns into ice, becoming as hard as stone. Water is essential to our existence on this planet. It comes from the sky and can also be found deep underground, as is the case in Wiesbaden, where various underground water veins rise up to the surface in several locations across the city. People both fear and love the power of water, with youngsters, in particular, taking great pleasure from it, especially in water playgrounds.

In this special collaboration, JUST and the Hessian State Ballet dedicate an entire production to this special element, embarking on an exciting journey into unknown waters. Staged by choreographer Felix Berner, "blau" utilises elements of dance and drama and fittingly receives its premiere in Wiesbaden's "Jahr des Wassers" (Year of Water).
