Myriam Lifa regularly works as choreographer for opera, operetta, musicals and drama at the Hessian State Theatre of Wiesbaden. She has had a long connection with the theatre, having worked as assistant director and choreographic assistant for the Jugendclub (now known as Junges Staatsmusical). She received her training as musical performer at the Stella Akademie / Joop van den Enden Akademie in Hamburg, after which she began her career as musical performer and assistant choreographer. Her first professional production as choreographer was Dietrich Hilsdorf's "Ladies Night" in Wiesbaden, followed by engagements at the Burgfestspiele Bad Vilbel (with "Sunset Boulevard" and "Ein Käfig voller Narren", directed by Benedikt Borrmann), at Theater Krefeld/Mönchengladbachand, and at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. Since 2014, Myriam Lifka's work in Wiesbaden includes "Der Graf von Luxemburg", "Die Fledermaus", "My Fair Lady", "Jenufa", Bern Mottl's productions of "Mein Kampf", "Manon", "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg" and "Anna Nicole", as well as "Addams Family" and "Saturday Night Fever" for the JUST Youth State Musical division.
