Helena Köhne studied in Hamburg and Berlin. She has guested in Weimar, Oldenburg, Kaiserslautern, Görlitz and Freiburg, in roles such as Mrs Quickly (“Falstaff”), Filippyevna (“Eugene Onegin”), Marthe (Gounod’s “Faust”), Third Lady (“Die Zauberflöte”), in “Jenufa” and “Arabella”, and as Adelaide in “Der Vogelhändler” at the 2015 Eutiner Festival. Helen Köhne won the “Interpretation of Contemporary Music” prize at the Hanns Eisler Competition. Following her previous Wiesbaden appearance as Annina in “La Traviata”, she will sing the roles of Kseniya's Nurse in “Boris Godunov”, as well as Wesener’s Mother in “Die Soldaten” this season.
