Richard Wagner's Flying Dutchman is one of the most fasctinating figures of Dark Romanticism. Following his much talked about appearance in "Die Meistersinger of Nürnberg" in 2019, baritone Michael Volle returns to Wiesbaden this year to perform this multi-faceted role in the famous ghost ship production. His wife, Gabriela Scherer, joins him on stage as Senta for the first time. GMD Patrick Lange conducts the Hessian State Orchestra.
