By William Shakespeare
Performed in German
Shakespeare's last play explores the relationship between power and responsibility.
Prospero is the Duke of Milan, overthrown by his own brother and sent to live on an island where he can do no harm. But through his magic, Prospero does in fact find his way to regain his power and also perform some acts that show his personal change over the course of the play.
Uwe Eric Laufenberg directs this new production, while also appearing as Prospero.
