The operetta "Der Zigeunerbaron" is one of Johann Strauss' greatest stage successes, along with "Die Fledermaus" and "Eine Nacht in Venedig". A story about never-ending wars, about values like bravery, loyalty and honesty - and about the mythical world and music of the Hungarian Roma.
