France in the 17th century. D'Artagnan, a young Gascon, sets off for Paris, to follow in his father's footsteps and become a Musketeer in the King's Guard. Having barely arrived, he gets involved in a scuffle with the three Musketeers Aramis, Athos and Porthos. But, suddenly, as they find themselves in battle with the henchmen of Cardinal Richelieu, the unlikely group become friends. And so begins an adventurous story of power, intrigue and passion.

Based on the famous novel by Alexandre Dumas, the musical by Rob and Ferdi Bolland impresses with its powerful Rock-Pop music, soulful ballads, thrilling scenes, spectacular fencing fights and, of course, a great deal of humour.

The Bolland brothers caused a sensation in the 1980s with compositions for the singer Falco - songs like "Jeanny" and "Rock me Amadeus". The musical was developed on behalf of Stage Entertainment Productions.
