Florian Boesch

Florian Boesch was born in Austria and made his debut in 2002 with a song recital at the Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg, followed by his operatic debut as Papageno ("Die Zauberflöte") in Zurich in 2003. He was Artist in Residence at the Wigmore Hall in London and has performed in Los Angeles, Tokio, Paris, Moscow, Vienna, Helsinki, as well as at the Salzburg and Bregenz Festivals. In 2011, he made his role debut as Wozzeck in Cologne. He performed in staged productions of "The Messiah" and "Lazarus" at Theater an der Wien. Previous performances in Wiesbaden include song recitals at the International May Festival.
