Holger Reinhardt

Born in Schwerin, Holger Reinhardt completed his conducting studies with Prof. Lutz Köhler at the Berlin University of the Arts in 2011.

Following engagements at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Bayreuth Festspiele (as maestro suggeritore), he worked as solo répétiteur (with conducting duties) at the Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar. Since then, Holger has been a regular guest at many renowned theatres in the German-speaking countries, with regular engagements at the Oper Leipzig and Deutsche Oper Berlin, amongst others. In addition, he is a regular Musical Assistant at the Baden-Baden Easter Festival and the Bayreuth Festival, most recently working on the 2022 production of "Lohengrin" with Christian Thielemann and the 2023 "Parsifal" with Pablo Heras-Casado.

Holger Reinhardt has been engaged at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden since the 2019/20 season. Here, he has attracted attention with productions such as "My Fair Lady" and Richard Strauss' "Elektra". Since 2023, he has held the position of Head Coach and Conductor and has subsequently conducted Tschaikovky's "Pique Dame", Lehár's "Die Lustige Witwe", as well as the ballet "Timelessness".

This season, he will conduct selected performances of "Lohengrin" and "Die lustige "Witwe", as well as the revival production of "Hänsel und Gretel".
