Various beings blow about in a tumultuous vortex under an unknown sky. Memories rise up, fighting against vaporisation; fragments of life, fleeting, disappearing. Once divided by the space-time continuum, they evaporate in a moment of eternity.

With his new creation »memento«, Tim Plegge draws on the idea of letting go and harnessing one's strength from fears, grief and death. Without illustrating concrete situations, Plegge creates a roundel which focuses on human beings and their ability to transform during moments of crisis. The work is an ode to one's own mortality and the preciousness of life; a plea to celebrate the moment between »memento mori« und »memento vivere«.

With music by Max Richter and Antonio Vivaldi, amongst others.
