Romina Boscolo

Romina Boscolo hails from Italy and studied in Turin and Persao. Guest appearances have taken her to Genoa, Turin, Bologna, Cologne Saarbrücken, Ankara and Sao Paulo, with roles including Ramiro ("La finta giardiniera"), Isabella ("L’italiana in Algeri"), Adalgisa ("Norma"), Ottavia ("L’incoronazione di Poppea") and Ulrica ("Ein Maskenball") in Saarbrücken. In 2017, she performed Polinesso in Handel's "Ariodante" at Theater Lübeck. She made her Wiesbaden debut in 2014 as the Voice from Above ("Die Frau ohne Schatten") and The Old Lady ("Candide") and in 2015 she sang Voice of the Mother in "The Tales of Hoffmann". She has since appeared in diverse roles such as Mary ("Der fliegende Holländer"), Preziosilla ("La forza del destino"), Suzuki ("Madame Butterfly"), Mrs Quickly ("Falstaff"), Orlofsky ("Die Fledermaus"), Third Lady ("Die Zauberflöte"), Schwertleite ("Die Walküre"), Mrs Sedly ("Peter Grimes"), Larina ("Eugene Onegin"), Erda ("Das Rheingold"), Waltraute ("Götterdämmerung"), Aliyah in Søren Nils Eichberg's new opera "Schönerland", Adelaide in "Arabella", Ulrica in "Un ballo in maschera" and Mary in "Der fliegende Holländer". Recent roles in Wiesbaden include Frugola, Princess and Zita in Puccini's "Il trittico", as well as Countess in "Pique Dame", amongst others.
