Daniela Musca studied in her native Rome, as well as in Basel and at the Hans Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. She was répétiteur for Júlia Várady and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and acted as accompanist at master classes with Cecilia Bartoli, among others. As conductor, she has worked with orchestras such as the Sibelius Orchestra in Berlin and the Brandenburg Symphony. She has worked at the State Operas in Munich and Berlin, the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Salzburg Festival, and took up her position in Wiesbaden in 2014, where she has since conducted “Don Pasquale” and “Die Dreigroschenoper”. This season, she returns to the podium to conduct “Der Graf von Luxemburg”.
