Ketevan Kemoklidze was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, and studied at the Vano Saraishvili State Conservatory, and later at the La Scala Academy. She has won prizes at various international singing competitions, including Placido Domingo's Operalia Competition, the Francisco Viñas International Singing Competition, the Belvedere Competition and the Elena Obraztsova International Competition for Opera Singers. Previous guest engagements have taken her to renowned opera houses such as the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Teatro Real Madrid, the Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona, Théâtre du Capitole Toulouse, Opéra national in Montpellier, Opéra de Marseille, Opéra de Nice, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Teatro Regio di Parma, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Opera di Roma, the Tokyo New National Theatre, Los Angeles Opera and Washington National Opera.
Her repertoire includes major roles in "Le nozze di Figaro", Così fan tutte", "La clemenza di Tito", "Il barbiere di Siviglia", "La Cenerentola", "Le comte Ory", "Norma", "Maria Stuarda", "Anna Bolena", "Linda di Chamounix", "Don Carlo", "La forza del destino", "Carmen", "Roméo et Juliette", "Faust" and "Eugene Onegin", amongst others. Her concert and oratorio repertoire includes works such as Pergolesi's "Stabat Mater", Handel's "Messiah", Vivaldi's "Magnificat", Mozart's "Requiem", Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Mahler's "Kindertotenlieder", Stravinsky's "Pulcinella" and Prokofiev's "Ivan the Terrible" and "Alexander Nevsky". In addition to extensive concert tours, recent engagements include "Carmen" in Caracalla and Trieste, "La Tempestad" at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, "Don Carlo" in Tel Aviv, "Norma" in Palma de Mallorca, "Anna Bolena" in Lausanne and "La Gioconda" at the Liceu in Barcelona.
This season, she graces the stage as Eboli in "Don Carlo" at the 2022 International May Festival.
