Following his celebrated reading of Tolstoy's "Kreutzersonate" last year, Hollywood star Sebastian Koch returns to the festival with a brand new project: Arthur Schnitzler's "Rhapsody: A Dream Novel" (also known as "Dream Story") from 1925, in which the dark side of a seemingly happy marriage is unearthed. It is no wonder that Schnitzler's work also provided the basis for Stanley Kubrick's enigmatic last film "Eyes Wide Shut". Sebastian Koch's reading is musically interwoven with the Jazz sounds of the Hubert Nuss Quartet, which will also be joined by a prominent surprise guest. A jam session of a special kind: Schnitzler meets Jazz!
