Speical Chamber Concert

The Bach Project

Works by Johann Sebastian Bach

Johann Sebastian Bach is sometimes described as one of the most German composers of all – but this does him an injustice. For although he never left the German-speaking world, he took a keen interest in international developments in the field of music and, not least, studied the then entirely new Italian virtuoso concertos of Antonio Vivaldi, for example, in great detail.

Daniel Geiß and the Rheingau Chamber Orchestra bring this "Italian" Bach to life with two of the Brandenburg Concertos and Concertos for one, two and three violins.
