Spiel der Illusionen

A father searches for his abandoned son. In a magician's cave, his life is revealed to him as a game within a game, in which he loves, kills, dies and is deceived again and again. The eventful life of the prodigal son becomes a game of illusion, disguise and changing identity, with a surprising twist waiting at the end. Christina Rast stages this "extravagant bagatelle" – as Corneille himself described his play – as a lavish theatrical event, playfully transcending genres and disciplines.
