Adina Aaron

American soprano Adina Aaron studied at the Florida International University and the Boston Conservatory. Since her appearances as Aida at the Savonlinna Festival, in Marseilles, Cologne and Essen, she is regarded one of the leading spinto sopranos on the circuit. Her portrayal of the role in the production by Franco Zeffirelli was broadcast across Europe by RAI and released on DVD. In Cologne, Adina Aaron also appeared as Vitellia in "La clemenza di Tito", as well as in a staged version of the Verdi Requiem. She sang Leonora in "Il trovatore" and Mimì in "La Bohème" in Marseilles, Avignon and Montreal, Elisabetta ("Don Carlo") in Tel Aviv, while at the Théâtre du Châtelet Paris she sang Alice Ford in "Falstaff", Amelia in "Ballo in maschera", as well as the female lead in "Treemonisha". She made her debut as Tosca in Stuttgart and appeared for the first time at the Washington National Opera in 2013/14 as Leonora in "La forza de destino", a role which she also sang in Cologne. She made her debut at Lyric Opera Chicago as Bess in "Porgy and Bess" in 2014.

Adina Aaron made her house and role debut as Lady Macbeth at Theater an der Wien during the 2016/17 season, followed by a concert version of "Porgy and Bess" in Milan and a new production of "Aida۫" at Théâtre de La Monnaie in Brussels. She made her Wiesbaden debut as Norma in 2017/18 and in the same season sang Amelia in the May Festival opening production of Verdi's "Un ballo in maschera". In addition, she has graced the Wiesbaden stage as Tosca alongside José Cura, a role which she reprises for the 2019/20 season revival of the production.
