From the darkness of obscurity into the light: that is the motto of this concert project, a collaboration between Sinfonia di Vetro and the Hessian State Theatre's Orchestra Academy. To mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of composer Joachim Raff, this "time-lapse" concert will link together compositions by three lesser-known musicians, composers and instrument owners: Schnyder von Wartensee, Joachim Raff and Carl Collischonn. Their work in Frankfurt and Wiesbaden, in particular their commitment to the rare glass harmonica, serves as the thematic starting point of the project.
