Celeste Haworth

Mezzo-soprano
Australian mezzo-soprano Celeste Haworth studied in Sydney and Vienna and has performed at the annual Vienna Modern Festival, amongst others. Her repertoire includes roles such as Dorabella ("Così fan tutte"), Rosina ("Il barbiere di Siviglia"), Niklaus / Muse ("Les contes d'Hoffmann"), Florence Pike and Nancy Waters ("Albert Herring"). As winner of the 2015 German-Australia Opera Grant, she appeared in Wiesbaden during the 2015/16 season as Emilia ("Otello"), Meg Page ("Falstaff"), Kate Pinkerton ("Madama Butterfly") and also sang roles in "Elektra", "Boris Godunov" and "Die Soldaten". This season, she returns as Marcellina in "Le nozze di Figaro".
