Alexander Fedin

Alexander Fedin studied in Moscow, his city of birth, as well as Vienna and Florence. He has been a member of the Cologne Opera ensemble since the 90’s, appearing in roles such as Tamino (“Die Zauberflöte”), Herod (“Salome”), Rodolfo (“La bohème”) and the title role in “The Tales of Hoffmann”. He has guested at Covent Garden in London, at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, La Scala, the State operas of Vienna, Hamburg and Munich, in Tokio and at the Salzburg Festival. Following his performance as Spalanzani in “Tales of Hoffmann”, he returns to Wiesbaden this season to sing Schuiski in “Boris Godunov”.
