Elif Aytekin

Elif Aytekin was born in Turkey and graduated with distinction from the Ismir State Conservatory. She won first prize in the 2011 Siemens Music Competition in Istanbul, which led to her taking part in the Salzburg Mozarteum Summer Academy master classes. Thereafter, she became a member of the opera studio at the Munich State Opera, followed by a permanent appointment in Pforzheim. In 2012, she accepted an appointment at the Meiningen State Theatre. Her repertoire includes Gretel in "Hänsel und Gretel", Gilda in "Rigoletto", Queen of the Night in "Die Zauberflöte", Adele in "Die Fledermaus", Elvira in "Puritani" and Sophie in "Rosenkavalier". She now returns to Wiesbaden to reprise her role as Violetta in "La Traviata".
