The Hessian State Orchestra of Wiesbaden is the opera and symphony orchestra of the state capital of Hesse, currently boasting around 78 permanent positions. In addition to its busy operatic performance schedule at the State Theatre, the orchestra also maintains a lively concert schedule every year, including a series of symphonic concerts with internationally renowned guest conductor and soloists in Wiesbaden's Kurhaus.
